2023 AGM
The AGM was held on 13th January 2023 at The Oriental Club.
Members welcomed the New Captain, Martin Fish, and his Committee for 2022. Thanks were given to Immediate Past Captain Peter Williams for his services at the end of a successful year which saw numbers growing and prowess rewarded. Committee members: Match Organiser Graham Ogilvie, Hon Scribe Richard Grandison and Treasurer Andy Fair were commended for all their hard work over the year. Members were addressed by Tim Grandage, Founder of Future Hope, who thanked the Society for its ongoing support and commitment to the 2023 Charity Golf Day at Woking GC.
2024 Match v RLSA
The annual match versus the Seniors of Royal Lytham St Anne’s was held on 12th August. As usual, the result was an honourable draw. Martin Fish our 2023 Captain is seen here with the Fidler Trophy which commemorates Fred Fidler of RLSA who initiated the fixture. David Williams (Match Organiser), Di Mistry (Captain of RLSA team) and Bobby Jones (3 times Open winner at RLSA) look on.
